Shēng

“Shēng” is a collection of “living” contemporary ashtrays. The design consists of natural sponges shaped ceramics, transparent resin and gray cement mixed with tobacco leaves, deliberately leaving everything without any coatings. These ashtrays will get “damaged” by stain and gradual erosion, from everytime you stub the cigarette out in it, and changing the color gradually by usage. We all know that smoking is a habit which is harmful to health and it is better not to smoke. But those who want the tiny joy of a cigarette, “shēng” will be useful to let them take a real pleasure in this small moments.
